Wash and Intergrated Wax
- At Titan we don't use pressure washers as we know it damages your cosmetic exterior. We wash your vehicle with a good old sponge and bucket, using a tried and tested product of gel coats, which gives a streak free glossy finish. We will hand chamois your Motor-home / Caravan, make your bumpers sparkle, your tyres shine and windows glimmer.
Wash and Hand Wax
- This is our most popular valeting service. A hand wash with a traditional sponge and bucket, using an industry leading shampoo, removing black marks and other residue. Then a hand wax is applied that gives you the ultimate in shine and protection. We use a wax that is highly concentrated in a blend of 4 waxes, including Carbauba and Candelilla giving a highly durable wet look gloss. For the ultra finish we do your bumpers, your windows, underneath the windows and tyres.
Wash, Polish, Wash, Wax
- If your van has lost its showroom finish and the gel coat had faded, then this may be the service for you. First we wash to remove the every day grime then we hand polish to remove the layers of wax that may have built up over the years. The polish is applied by hand and removed by a hand held machine buffer. The product we use has a unique Ionic Nano technology. Your vehicle is hand washed again, before we apply a new layer of wax by hand. As you can imagine this is not a quick process and involves at least a full day. As always we make your bumpers sparkle, your tyres shine and windows glimmer.
The difference between Wax and Polish
Polish
A polish is designed to remove minor surface imperfections such as scratches, spotting and oxidation. There are many different products out there and at Titan we use 4/5 different types depending on your vehicles condition using a unique nano technology. Polishes work with abrasives and/or chemical cleaners to flatten, or level, the surface. Some polishes are more aggressive than others. Polishes are not designed to add protection to the vehicle’s paint surface. They are designed to correct the paint. For example, a scratch in the clear coat can reflect light from its microscopic edges. That’s what makes it stand out from the surrounding area. A professional polish can smooth out, or level the edges; reducing the amount of light the scratch reflects. In many cases, a polish can completely remove minor surface scratches and other imperfections to make the vehicles surface look new, or, even better than new
Wax
A wax is designed to enhance and protect a previously polished surface. Vehicle or gel coat wax is a non-abrasive coating usually containing Carnauba and other waxes. It is applied after washing your Caravan or Motorhome and dries to a thin, milky-white layer when applied properly and is then wiped or buffed off with a microfibre towel. The wax serves as a clear, shiny protective layer between the elements and the clear-coat that has been applied over the gel coat on your caravan / motorhome. It fills in very tiny (microscopic) dimples in the clear-coat and will help them shine to near-showroom brightness. The protection is necessary to keep airborne pollutants, road film, acid rain, and other contaminants from sticking to the surface, causing potentially long term damage. Many times one will see a Caravan or Motorhome where it appears the clear coat is peeling off the car. Regular waxing, is essential to keep the shine and beauty of your Caravan or Motorhome.
